ArtforParks

I was invited to participate in the upcoming ArtforParks exhibition at Hornsby, which is part of the Hornsby Festival of the Arts, and timed to coincide with the World Parks Congress in Sydney.

The exhibition is on at the Wallarobba Arts and Cultural Centre, 25 Edgeworth David Avenue, Hornsby, 4-15 November 2014 (10 am to 5 pm).

The 8 works I am exhibiting are all from the Blue Mountains. There are lots of good and interesting works, all in the interests of inspiring conservation of our wonderful and deeply threatened natural heritage.

Questions of Beauty

Len Metcalf, Mike Stacey and I have collaborated on another exhibition.

Questions of Beauty can be viewed at the Blue Mountains Heritage Centre (National Park Visitor Centre) at the end of Govetts Leap Road, Blackheath, every day (9.00 am – 4.30 pm) until 1 November.

The exhibition includes 8 new and never-before-printed works of mine, all from the Blue Mountains. If you can drop in, I hope you enjoy the show!

New exhibition – Atmospheres at Blackheath

I’m collaborating with Len Metcalf and Mike Stacey to put on a new show of nature photographs at Blackheath in April.  Atmospheres explores the more subtle aspects of the Blue Mountains, in fog and mist, as the weather changes and at the ends of the day.  We hope that anyone who loves the mountains will enjoy this exhibition.

Atmospheres will be in the Gallery in the Park, Blue Mountains Heritage Centre (the national park centre), end of Govetts Leap Road, Blackheath.  It will be launched by local conservationist and heritage consultant Joan Domicelj, at 2 pm on Saturday 6 April, and will run until 30 April (open every day, 9 am to 4.30 pm).  Everyone is welcome!
