New Images 2: Queensland sandstone
In the northern dry season of 2026 a group of us went bushwalking in untracked parts of Queensland's White Mountains National Park and Carnarvon National Park (Salvator Rosa section). These sandstone landscapes are wildly different but equally rugged and spectacular. Negotiating the often intricate and rocky terrain was challenging, and so was finding enough water sources to support multi-day excursions. Also here, a few images from a rock climbing visit to Frog Buttress (not sandstone!), on Mount French in Moogerah Peaks National park on Queensland's Scenic Rim.
